N2 Gateway: Delft 7 - 9 Project
Delft is situated approximately 50km from Cape Town via the N2 Freeway. The development forms part of the Integrated Human Settlement Planning Project consisting of 22 000 housing units including Delft Precinct 7 – 9, Delft Leiden, Boystown, Joe Slovo & Nu Rest. This project was an initiative of the National Department of Housing, Western Cape Department of Local Government and Housing and the City of Cape Town.
Delft 7 – 9 is a greenfield project aimed at accommodating the overflow of families from other areas. The project comprise a total of 4746 housing units ranging from single, semi-detached and row housing on erven of between 90m² to 109m². The development also includes non-residential uses with safe access for pedestrians to community facilities and public transport.
